Interview with Mariona Mora — Creative Director based in Barcelona

This is an interview series with our community. Today we are featuring Mariona Mora, a creative director who uses Savee for inspiration. We talked about a few things like, what inspires her, her feed, and what she likes the most about our community.
Tell us a bit about yourself.
My name is Mariona Mora, and I’m an Art Director and Creative Consultant working in fashion, art, and culture. I spent nearly four years as Head of Communications at Gabriel for Sach, a Barcelona-based fashion brand, where I gained a deep understanding of how a brand operates from the inside, while giving me full creative freedom to design and curate projects from concept to execution - all while collaborating with amazing talents in the industry.

I’ve also worked with brands I truly admire, like Santa & Cole, and recently launched Cantina Simona, a food design studio exploring narratives around food and the experiences that arise from it.

How did you hear about Savee?
Through my friend Albert Villegas, he’s an amazing designer. I checked out the site and I immediately loved it. I’m always on the lookout for new platforms to dive into for inspiration.

What's the role of inspiration in your daily routine?
I get inspired by so many things I come across during the day. Whenever something catches my eye, I take a photo or a screenshot and save it in a folder on my phone. It could be anything - a chair, an apple, a postcard. When I start a project, I revisit these references, and that’s also when I turn to platforms like Savee to connect ideas, spark inspiration, and refresh my mind.

What's one thing you think is unique about Savee?
The fact that it’s curated by creatives makes all the difference. And I also love the color filter for discovering visuals in a new way.
